History

Climate
Amman's climate weaves together elements of both the Mediterranean and semi-arid worlds. Summers, stretching from June to September, are hot with average highs reaching 25°C (77°F). While refreshing breezes help temper the heat, occasional bursts can push temperatures even higher. Spring and autumn offer brief but pleasant respites. April-May and October-November see comfortable temperatures, typically ranging from highs in the low 20s °C (70s F) to lows in the mid-teens °C (50s F).
